Module 10: LeGEPA & Causal-JEPA

Stability and Reasoning: Transitioning from correlative patterns to causal understanding.

Understanding Causality vs. Correlation

True intelligence requires understanding Causality—the difference between observation and intervention. Standard models often fail because they only learn correlations (patterns that appear together).

**Causal-JEPA** incorporates do-calculus logic. It can distinguish between a state that occurred naturally and a state that was forced by an agent's intervention. This prevents the model from drawing false conclusions about "cause and effect."

Agent Action (Intervention)

The Correlation Trap

When you Turn ON the Sprinkler, the Classical model sees 'Wet Grass' and assumes it must have rained, because those two events are correlated. The Causal-JEPA correctly identifies that the intervention (Sprinkler) is the cause, and the Rain probability remains low.
